Creative Journaling Idea–
Recently I received an incredible creative journaling idea from a reader of my journaling email newsletter.
Her idea was so great that I asked for and received permission to share it with you.
So without further ado, here is Trisha’s wonderful, creative journal idea:
Creative Journaling Idea
“I was In search for a new journal, something small enough to keep in a purse or tote, not too big, not too small, And I didn’t really want lines, especially if I planned to draw or anything, and a sketch book was too big, or a lot more expensive, I happened across a pad of “mini-scrapbook papers” (6in by 6in).
A variety of different designs. Enough of each, I could keep a theme for whatever journal entry I was working on, or mix the papers up.
Also, the backsides were white- which I could draw on, or write on if I was in the mood that day for plain. I also purchased a single hole- hole punch. I put two holes in the papers when I’m done.
I created a front and back cover from some scrap cardboard, and also put two holes. Put papers in between, thread a nice ribbon through entire thing and tie in a bow (to add more papers) and that’s my idea of a creative journal!’
Thanks, Trisha, for the awesome idea!!!
If you have a fun journal keeping idea I’d love to hear about it. Please leave me a comment!
Happy journaling…
Sincerely,
Jill
